0penRX is built to know as little about you as technically possible. The short version: we collect no personal information, use no cookies, run no analytics or third-party trackers, have no accounts, and never sell or share anything. This page describes exactly what that means.

What we collect: nothing personal
There is no sign-up, no login, and no form that asks who you are. We run no analytics and keep no server-side profile of you, and we do not log or store the drugs you search. 0penRX collects and retains no personal information about visitors.
What’s stored on your device
Two small preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage (a private on-device area, not a cookie), only on your device — they are never transmitted to us:
orx-theme— your light/dark display choice.orx-privacy-ack— a flag so the privacy notice doesn’t reappear after you dismiss it.
Both are strictly functional, contain no identifiers, and can be cleared any time from your browser settings. We use no cookies of any kind.
Live drug data your browser fetches
When you open a drug, your browser queries public data sources directly:
- NLM RxNorm, openFDA, and CMS NADAC — U.S. government/FDA services, queried directly by your browser; and
- our own read-only backend, solely for manufacturer assistance-program information.
Those requests carry the drug name and standard network metadata (such as your IP address), which each service handles under its own privacy policy. We do not receive, log, or store your searches.
No cookies, analytics, ads, or trackers
0penRX loads no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no social widgets, and no third-party fonts (fonts are served from our own domain). A strict Content-Security-Policy blocks any script or connection we did not explicitly allow.
How the site is served
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, its DNS is handled by Cloudflare (name resolution only — it does not proxy your page traffic), and the assistance-program backend runs on Render. Like any web host, these providers receive standard request/network metadata (such as your IP address) under their own policies. We add no tracking on top of them.
No selling or sharing
We do not sell, share for cross-context behavioral advertising, rent, or trade any data — there is none to sell. Because we collect and retain nothing personal, there is nothing for us to disclose, and no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism is needed.
Your privacy rights
Privacy laws such as the Connecticut Data Privacy Act and California’s CCPA give consumers rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale of their personal data. We honor these — but because 0penRX holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, change, or erase. If you believe we hold data about you, email info@qantm.ai and we will respond.
Children’s privacy
0penRX is a general-audience information service, is not directed to children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Because the site is versioned in a public repository, the full history of this policy is auditable.
